Forum Tim Darurat Karhutla (TDK) Kahayan Hilir memastikan wilayah Kecamatan Kahayan Hilir hingga Kamis (18/6/2026) pukul 07.00 WIB masih dalam kondisi aman dari kebakaran hutan dan lahan (karhutla).
Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan Forum TDK yang terdiri dari KPSHK bersama LPHD Gohong, LPHD Kalawa, LPHD Mantaren I dalam konferensi pers yang digelar di Pulang Pisau.
Komandan TDK Kahayan Hilir, Sarianto, mengatakan pihaknya terus melakukan pemantauan dan langkah pencegahan karhutla melalui patroli rutin serta pembasahan lahan gambut di wilayah kerja yang mencakup sekitar 16.500 hektare dan sembilan desa.
“Forum TDK merupakan kolaborasi multipihak yang melibatkan KPSHK, LPHD, pemerintah desa, pemerintah kecamatan, BPBD, KPH, Koramil, dan Polsek dalam upaya pencegahan karhutla,” ujar Sarianto. kamis, 18 Juni 2026.
Ia menegaskan, hingga saat ini kondisi wilayah Kahayan Hilir masih terkendali dan belum ditemukan titik api di area pemantauan.
“Hingga 18 Juni 2026 pukul 07.00 WIB, berdasarkan hasil pemantauan dan data SIPONGI KLHK, tidak ditemukan titik api atau hotspot di wilayah kerja Forum TDK Kahayan Hilir,” tegasnya.

Berdasarkan hasil pemantauan, tinggi muka air gambut di sebagian besar lokasi masih berada pada kondisi aman. Penurunan terdalam tercatat di kawasan Sungai Mahikei, Desa Kalawa, mencapai 50 sentimeter sehingga memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut.
Hasil patroli yang dilakukan pada 16–17 Juni 2026 juga menunjukkan sejumlah kawasan di Hutan Desa Buntoi dan eks Proyek Lahan Gambut (PLG) Gohong masih tergenang air dengan kedalaman antara 10 hingga 60 sentimeter. Curah hujan masih terjadi di kedua kawasan tersebut.
Sementara itu, berdasarkan data BMKG, suhu udara di wilayah Pulang Pisau berkisar antara 24 hingga 32 derajat Celsius dengan tingkat kelembapan yang masih tinggi. Namun demikian, lapisan permukaan tanah berada pada kategori mudah hingga sangat mudah terbakar sehingga kewaspadaan tetap perlu ditingkatkan.
Forum TDK juga mencatat tidak terjadi penurunan subsiden gambut yang signifikan sepanjang tahun 2026 di empat hutan desa yang menjadi wilayah pemantauan. Penurunan hanya tercatat satu sentimeter di Stasiun Gohong atau masih berada di bawah ambang batas lima sentimeter per tahun.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Forum TDK Kahayan Hilir turut meluruskan informasi terkait Inisiatif Kahayan Hilir (IKH) yang dilaksanakan di Desa Buntoi.
“IKH merupakan kerja sama KPSHK dengan empat LPHD di Kecamatan Kahayan Hilir. Pemerintah Desa Buntoi telah dilibatkan sejak tahun 2022 dan seluruh kegiatan dilaksanakan sesuai RKPS serta prinsip Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC),” jelasnya.
Forum juga menegaskan bahwa berdasarkan dokumentasi dan catatan pelaksanaan program, Pemerintah Desa Buntoi telah terlibat dalam berbagai tahapan kegiatan sejak awal program berjalan.
“Kami berkomitmen terus memperkuat kolaborasi dalam pencegahan karhutla, pengelolaan hutan desa, dan perlindungan ekosistem gambut di Kecamatan Kahayan Hilir,” tutup Sarianto.(Alp/Aw)

The Kahayan Hilir Forest and Land Fire Emergency Team (TDK) confirmed that the Kahayan Hilir District remained safe from forest and land fires (karhutla) as of 7:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB) on Thursday (June 18, 2026).
This statement was made by the TDK Forum, which consists of the Forest and Land Management Unit (KPSHK), the Gohong, Kalawa, and Mantaren I LPHDs, during a press conference held in Pulang Pisau.
The Kahayan Hilir TDK Commander, Sarianto, stated that his team continues to monitor and take preventive measures against forest and land fires through routine patrols and peatland rewetting in the work area, which covers approximately 16,500 hectares and nine villages.
“The TDK Forum is a multi-stakeholder collaboration involving the KPSHK, LPHD, village governments, sub-district governments, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the Forest Management Unit (KPH), the Military District Command (Koramil), and the Sector Police (Polsek) in forest and land fire prevention efforts,” said Sarianto. He emphasized that the situation in the Kahayan Hilir area remains under control and no hotspots have been detected in the monitoring area.
“As of June 18, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time, based on monitoring results and data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry’s SIPONGI (Sub-district Information System), no hotspots have been detected in the Kahayan Hilir TDK Forum’s work area,” he emphasized.

Based on monitoring results, the peat water level in most locations remains safe. The deepest subsidence was recorded in the Mahikei River area, Kalawa Village, reaching 50 centimeters, requiring further attention.
Patrols conducted on June 16–17, 2026, also showed that several areas in the Buntoi Village Forest and the former Gohong Peatland Project (PLG) were still inundated with water ranging in depth from 10 to 60 centimeters. Rainfall continues to occur in both areas.
Meanwhile, according to BMKG data, the air temperature in the Pulang Pisau area ranges from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius, with humidity remaining high. However, the surface soil layer is classified as easily to highly flammable, requiring increased vigilance.
The TDK Forum also noted no significant peat subsidence throughout 2026 in the four village forests monitored. The subsidence was only recorded at one centimeter at Gohong Station, still below the threshold of five centimeters per year.
On the same occasion, the Kahayan Hilir TDK Forum also clarified information regarding the Kahayan Hilir Initiative (IKH) implemented in Buntoi Village.
“IKH is a collaboration between the Forest Management Unit (KPSHK) and four Village-Owned Forest Management Institutions (LPHD) in Kahayan Hilir District. The Buntoi Village Government has been involved since 2022, and all activities are carried out in accordance with the RKPS (Regional Development Plan) and the principle of Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC),” he explained.
The forum also emphasized that, based on documentation and program implementation records, the Buntoi Village Government has been involved in various stages of the program since its inception.
“We are committed to continuing to strengthen collaboration in forest and land fire prevention, village forest management, and peat ecosystem protection in Kahayan Hilir District,” concluded Sarianto. (Alp/Aw)
